David Webb, MD, FACS, is native Memphian and grew up just outside of the city in the town of Collierville, Tennessee. He completed his undergraduate education at Rhodes College while majoring in Biology. He then moved on to the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis where he attended medical school and completed both his General Surgery Residency and Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship. After training, he accepted a position on the UTHSC faculty as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Minimally Invasive Surgery. His current practice includes general and minimally invasive surgery with a focus in foregut, colon, endocrine, and comprehensive hernia care.
He is married to Dr. Adrianne Myers-Webb, pediatric surgeon at Baptist-Spence and Becky Wilson Children’s Hospital, and their family includes identical twin boys: Jonathon and Lucas, and their three dogs: Margo, Buckley, and Jack. He is an avid sports fan and actively supports both the Memphis Grizzlies and University of Memphis Tigers' Athletics. In addition, he’s a food and wine enthusiast who enjoys cooking, listening to good music, and traveling when time allows.
