Dr. Thompson is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered surgical care while maintaining a strong commitment to academic scholarship and community service. Her experiences in emergency medicine, clinical research, mentorship, and volunteer outreach have shaped her approach to patient care and strengthened her passion for surgery. Throughout medical school, she demonstrated a commitment to leadership, education, and service while remaining actively involved in research and community health initiatives.

Outside the OR

Outside of medicine, Dr. Thompson enjoys staying active through running, hot pilates, skiing, and tennis. She loves traveling with family, exploring new places, and spending time outdoors. She is also a proud dog mom to her miniature cockapoo. Driven by a passion for serving diverse patient populations, she recently began studying Medical Spanish to further strengthen her communication skills and ability to care for patients from a variety of backgrounds.
